ZOCS, through its Executive Director, Cleopatra Muma, was presenting at the Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA) Triennale 2025 focussing on “improving foundational learning – Progress and challenges since FLEX 2024: “Investing in the foundation of learning”.

This presentation is important because it highlights Zambia’s progress and ongoing challenges in improving foundational learning, a critical area for achieving quality education for all children. It also underscores the value of collaboration and evidence-based interventions, such as the School Readiness Initiative (in Partnership with the Roger Federer Foundation and ROCS), which demonstrates how community-driven approaches can enhance early childhood development and create lasting impact.
